Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and target-driven Academic Counselor to join our team at One Team Solutions EdTech Pvt Ltd. The Academic Counselor will be responsible for guiding prospective students through the admissions process, providing accurate information about our programs, and helping them make informed decisions about their career paths. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a strong sales orientation, and a passion for helping students succeed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in academic counseling, admissions, or sales.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment.
- Proficiency in using CRM tools and Microsoft Office.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Handle incoming inquiries from prospective students and provide detailed information about academic programs, admission processes, and career opportunities.
- Conduct counseling sessions (in-person, over the phone, and online) to understand student goals and recommend suitable programs.
- Follow up with leads through calls, emails, and messages to convert inquiries into admissions.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly enrollment targets.
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions and admissions in the CRM system.
- Coordinate with the operations team to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new students.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve conversion rates and increase enrollments.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor programs, and market demands.
- Provide regular reports on performance, including lead conversion rates and enrollment statistics.
