Associate - Account Management

We are looking for a dedicated Benefits Support Specialist to join our team in Kochi. In this role, you will independently manage benefit administration activities, including provider outreach, complex claim support, and workflow management. You will serve as a subject matter expert, handling intricate scenarios and contributing to process improvement initiatives.

As part of Sutherland, you will be working at the intersection of AI, automation, and business process excellence to deliver measurable results for iconic global brands.

• Graduate degree in any discipline or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Health/Life Insurance, Disability Benefits, or Claims Processing.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex procedures and apply sound judgment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills suitable for a professional contact center environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple systems and applications simultaneously under tight deadlines.

• Execute complex benefit administration tasks and claim processing with minimal supervision.
• Conduct provider outreach to resolve documentation gaps and secure necessary information.
• Monitor and manage workflow exceptions to ensure compliance with service-level agreements.
• Provide mentorship and coaching to junior team members while sharing domain knowledge.
• Analyze existing processes to recommend and implement efficiency improvements.
