Business Analyst

The Business Analyst is a developing professional role, focused on leveraging data to generate critical business insights. This role involves interpreting complex data sets to identify opportunities, define business challenges within the credit card landscape, and formulate data-driven recommendations that shape policies and practices. You will collaborate across teams, developing a strong understanding of industry standards and how their work contributes to broader business objectives.

• 1-2 years of relevant experience in data analysis, preferably in financial analytics.
• Proficiency in analytical tools such as Python, SQL, and data visualization tools like Tableau.
• Experience with big data technologies like Hive, Impala, or PySpark is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Economics.

• Manage the full data lifecycle, including processing, analysis, quality assurance, and insights reporting.
• Deliver routine and ad-hoc analytical outputs, continuously developing a broader understanding of the business context.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to define requirements for data analysis and reporting.
• Assist in the implementation of data-driven solutions and business strategies.
• Perform complex and varied assignments, demonstrating technical expertise and specialized functional knowledge.
• Appropriately assess risk in all business decisions while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and firm ethics.
