Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Manager to lead our data-driven initiatives, optimize data storage, enhance sales lead conversion, and develop robust data management systems. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in streamlining data infrastructure, analyzing business data, and implementing strategies to improve efficiency and decision-making processes across the organization. This role requires a deep understanding of data management, CRM systems, analytics, and sales operations. The Data Manager will work closely with the sales, marketing, and IT teams to ensure that data processes effectively support business growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:1. Sales Lead Conversion & Data Optimization:
Develop and implement a structured strategy for tracking and converting sales leads.
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to analyze lead sources, customer behavior, and conversion trends.
Maintain and optimize CRM databases to ensure accurate, up-to-date information.
Use predictive analytics to identify high-potential leads and enhance conversion rates.
Generate actionable insights from data analysis to improve sales and marketing strategies.
2. Data Storage, Security & Management:
Design and implement an efficient, secure, and scalable data storage infrastructure.
Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with industry regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).
Conduct regular audits to prevent data inconsistencies and security vulnerabilities.
Develop data classification frameworks to improve data accessibility and retrieval.
Maintain backup and recovery procedures to prevent data loss.
3. System Building & Process Automation:
Develop and optimize data management systems to support and enhance business operations.
Automate data collection, integration, and reporting processes to improve operational efficiency.
Work with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of various data sources and platforms.
Continuously enhance system performance and troubleshoot technical issues.
4. Reporting & Business Intelligence:
Create and maintain dashboards and reports for real-time business insights.
Provide data-driven recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.
Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of sales, marketing, and operational efforts.
Identify trends and patterns in business performance and propose improvement initiatives.
5. Collaboration & Cross-Department Coordination:
Work closely with sales, marketing, IT, and finance teams to promote data-driven decision-making.
Provide training and support to employees on data management tools, best practices, and usage.
Establish and enforce data governance policies to standardize data usage across departments.
Daily Activities:
Monitor and update CRM records to ensure accuracy.
Track new sales leads and analyze conversion performance.
Generate real-time sales reports and provide actionable data insights.
Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations.
Identify and troubleshoot any data management system issues.
Weekly Activities:
Conduct data quality checks and clean up inconsistencies.
Analyze sales performance trends and propose necessary adjustments.
Meet with sales and marketing teams to review data-driven strategies and outcomes.
Optimize data storage and retrieval processes to ensure efficiency.
Implement minor system improvements and updates for automation.
Monthly Activities:
Generate and present comprehensive performance reports to management.
Conduct system audits, security checks, and data integrity assessments.
Develop strategies to improve lead nurturing and conversion rates.
Plan and execute long-term improvements to the data management system.
Train employees on data usage, analytics tools, and best practices.
Requirements
- BCA/BSc Computer Science/ related discipline.
- Strong expertise in data management & analytics tools.
- Knowledge of CRM, cloud storage, and database systems.
- Experience in data visualization & reporting.
- Excellent problem-solving & decision-making skills.
