Enforcement Detection Analyst, Trust and Safety

YouTube is looking for a proactive Enforcement Detection Analyst to join our Trust and Safety team. In this role, you will be on the frontlines of digital safety, ensuring that our platform remains a secure space for creators and viewers alike. You will tackle complex abuse challenges by analyzing trends, identifying enforcement gaps, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement scalable solutions.

You will work at the intersection of policy and technology, driving operational improvements to detect and mitigate disruptive content in a high-volume, dynamic environment.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in data analysis, including trend identification and generating actionable insights from complex datasets.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in project management, specifically in defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders to gather requirements and iterate on product solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex analytical models to technical and non-technical audiences.

• Develop and implement data-driven strategies to enforce YouTube content policies at scale, utilizing machine learning where applicable.
• Analyze performance metrics to understand operational drivers and propose improvements that integrate with our existing backend infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Policy, Operations, and Engineering teams to test and deploy new features that address emerging trust and safety challenges.
• Provide rapid, independent incident response for abuse cases, performing root-cause analysis and executing effective mitigation plans.
• Maintain a deep understanding of the global abuse landscape, including attacker intentions and technical methods, to close enforcement gaps.
