Fullstack Software Engineer, II

Atlassian is looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer, II to join its engineering team and build creative improvements for engineering teams. The role involves developing reliable, scalable features and services across the technology stack.

The position is fully remote and open to candidates located in India. You will work as part of Atlassian's distributed-first engineering organisation, contributing to products and initiatives across its core product suite, including Jira, Confluence, Trello, and Bitbucket.

The role focuses on building REST APIs, customer-facing React components, backend monitoring, CI/CD pipelines, content management system integrations, and reliable software services.

• 4+ years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and supporting technologies such as React and Node.js
• Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• Experience with REST API integrations
• Experience working with Git in a collaborative environment
• Knowledge of HTML and Sass/CSS with cross-browser compatibility
• Experience collaborating with UX and visual designers
• Familiarity with NPM, Docker, NGINX, and Express/Node.js
• Experience with enterprise content management systems
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS
• Experience with Java
• Experience with Freemarker
• Experience with Rust
