Lead Java Developer (AWS)

Cognizant is seeking a skilled Lead Developer to design and deliver resilient cloud-native applications in a hybrid work environment. You will work on Java Springboot microservices, Python, containers, and continuous integration pipelines, leveraging AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker to build secure and scalable solutions.

• Strong programming experience in Python and Java.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud-native development.
• Deep understanding of backend scalable systems, including performance, reliability, and security best practices.
• Knowledge of vulnerability management and secure development practices.
• Preferred: AWS Certified Developer Associate certification.

• Build, enhance, and maintain backend services using Python and Java.
• Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure backend architectures.
• Develop automation scripts and internal tools to improve operational efficiency.
• Perform vulnerability management activities, including identifying, triaging, tracking, and supporting the remediation of security issues.
