Preschool Teacher

1. A Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2. Valid teaching certification or state licensing as required.
3. Prior experience working with young children in an educational or childcare setting.
4. Knowledge of child development and early childhood education principles.
5. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
6. Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with other staff members.
7. Patience, creativity, and a passion for teaching and working with young children.

MTTC

1. Create and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that aligns with early childhood education standards.
2. Plan and conduct daily activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
3. Provide a safe, warm, and welcoming environment where children feel comfortable and secure.
4. Observe and assess each child’s progress, identifying areas of strength and areas that need support.
5. Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff to ensure the child's overall well-being and growth.
6. Manage classroom behavior in a positive and effective manner, using appropriate techniques for guiding behavior.
7. Promote effective communication with parents regarding their child’s progress and well-being.
8. Ensure compliance with state and local regulations, as well as organizational policies.
9. Maintain classroom materials and ensure a clean, organized, and safe learning space.
10. Participate in professional development and training as required.
