Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
Responsibilities
- * Cost Estimation and Budgeting: Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for Interior work projects.
- * Contract Administration: Administer contracts, including preparing contract documents, managing variations, and ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
- * Cost Control and Management: Monitor and control costs throughout the project lifecycle, including identifying and mitigating potential cost risks.
- * Measurement and Quantification: Take off quantities from drawings and specifications, and prepare bills of quantities.
- * Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and procurement, to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost estimation, and cost control, Proficient in measurement software, such as Autodesk Quantity Takeoff or similar, Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
