Software Engineering Intern

At Red Hat, our interns are an integral part of the team, participating in day-to-day work and active contribution. You will join our Global Engineering team to work on cutting-edge technologies like Ansible, RHEL, OpenShift, and AI. Working closely with a senior mentor, you will contribute to real-world projects while gaining hands-on experience in a global, collaborative environment.

• Currently pursuing the final year of a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or an equivalent field.
• Basic knowledge and passion for Software Engineering and object-oriented programming.
• Willingness to learn and proactively work within a diverse team.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Ability to work without the need for visa sponsorship.

• Design, develop, and maintain code in Python, Golang, or similar programming languages.
• Add new features, debug, and identify issues within Red Hat products like RHEL and OpenShift.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including Quality Engineering, Design, and Product Management.
• Network with the intern cohort and engage in continuous learning opportunities.
