Software Test Engineer

Nokia is seeking talented Software Test Engineers to join our team in developing and evolving next-generation routers that form the core of global internet infrastructure. Our IP products power everything from data centers and AI fabrics to resilient, low-latency IP backhaul for service providers and mission-critical networks.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.
• 3 to 8 years of hands-on experience in networking domains and software automation.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Golang for test automation.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols including OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, Segment Routing, and EVPN with VXLAN.
• Experience with virtualized environments including KVM, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex systems with a methodical approach and strong attention to detail.

• Take end-to-end ownership of software features to ensure robust quality across diverse products and platforms.
• Specialize in testing datacenter and AI networking solutions.
• Design and implement modular, lean, and efficient automation code, including custom libraries and infrastructure.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product management and software developers to align testing strategies with customer requirements.
