Job Description
We are seeking a results-driven and experienced Store Manager to oversee daily operations at our supermarket. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, optimizing inventory and sales, and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and safety.
Requirements
- Proven experience (1+ years) in retail or supermarket management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Proficient in using POS systems, inventory software, and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and long hours if needed.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the supermarket.
- Manage and train store employees; schedule shifts and delegate tasks.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely restocking of products.
- Implement effective merchandising strategies to boost sales.
- Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues efficiently.
- Analyze sales reports and set store targets to meet business goals.
- Ensure all cash handling and financial processes are accurate.
- Coordinate with suppliers and logistics for timely delivery of goods.
- Report directly to area or regional managers with updates and store performance metrics.
